Hello My Friends! Happy Tuesday! Just want to share with you a little page I made that looks like a stunner but is actually very basic!  I will list all the steps for you so you can create a work of art like this in your own style!  1. White 12x12 base page 2. Black 11.5 x 11.5 Cardstock 3. Cut a stencil of your choosing using the NEW stencil sheets (I chose striped off of the Artbooking Cricut collection ) 4. Cut an overlay that would work with the pictures you are going to be using. (I chose an overlay on the  off of the  Artistry Collection ) 5. I "sliced" the photo holes out of the original overlay design. 6. Take your stencil you cut and use Opaque Matte Texture paste with some liquid out of the c lear shimmer brush   to thin the paste and give it some shine (spread over background as desired). 7. September is an exciting time of year for so many reasons! Kids are off to school to learn and grow, my house can stay clean for more then an hour, and the biggest excitement of all.... NEW IDEA book time! The holiday expression starts live September 1! I try not to show a lot of art etc till after my launch party to keep the secret but boy oh boy this one is the best I have seen in years! My wish list was MILES long! I’m going to share with you a couple sneaks of what is to come over the coming weeks! I am making a new commitment to share here more. Over the summer I have a bit MIA as the family and I were soaking up as much of the short summer as we could.  Hope to see you all tonight at 5056 50 Ave Drayton Valley! Im so excited to be hosting this again in September!  Time to get your creative juices flowing and work on some albums or craft projects of any kind! Another fun filled, uninterrupted weekend of crafting is coming in September! Besides the freedom to spread out and scrapbook around the clock, there are other optional activities available to enhance your weekend experience. I will be doing some tutorials to help inspire you and show you some great techniques! They will be spread out through the weekend, all the materials for those will be supplied and they are optional! You will have your own table to spread out and craft! Meals will be included all day Friday, Saturday and late breakfast on Sunday. Massages and Pedicures will be available (upon availability). Life has caught up with me and boy I have been busy! It seems if I'm not out doing workshops I'm having some fun with the family as summer is finally here! I have had a bit of creative time this last week so here is what I up to! The guide will be up and running in ONE week for those of you looking to purchase the guide only! Not being a big saffron fan, I'm not going to lie this paper made me nervous! I was hesitant on things were going to flow and let me tell you... SO EASY!
